Bungalow’s DJ Verb X has been spinning music for more than a decade on the local scene and has won recognition from City Pages and other local publications. A Minnesota Music Award nominee, Verb X specializes in hip hop, reggae and R&B, but his technique is inspired from many different genres and styles and his sets feature old school, new school and burning hot reggae mixes. A pillar of the hip hop community, Verb X has long been a staple in the First Avenue Record Room (formerly VIP room).
