Grades 7-12. Did you know hip-hop dance moves connect to African dance traditions? See how traditional music and moves from Zimbabwe, Guinea and Senegal are connected to “b-boying,” salsa, popping and locking. Come in comfortable clothing and be ready to dance!
This project is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Presented in collaboration with Intermedia Arts.
