Todd Joseph Mitchell was born on July 23, 1962, in Minneapolis, MN to Joseph and Kathleen Mitchell. Todd Mitchell passed away while surrounded by loved ones on January 29, 2013.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Mitchell, and sister, Kimberly Carter Powell. Left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Aja Mitchell;
mother, Kathleen Mitchell; sister, Bridgett Mitchell; brothers, Scott, Branden, Gene, Justin, Ross and Adam; nephews, Andre and Da Mario Mitchell, Alon Mitchell, Ethan, and Aiden and David Powell; uncles, John and Phil Sheridan and Bob Arms; nieces, Sheridan Kavon Mitchell and Danielle Powell; cousins, Bobby and Rodney Arms, Troy, Trent and Allison Bowman, Tracy G, Kathy Mitchell, Tammy Lilydahl, and Joe and Chad Peterson; and many great nieces and nephews.
Todd has an extended family that includes daughters Audrey, Chenesta, Stephanie Stephens, Karen, Lakshmi Raghubir; boys DeVon, Kiran, and Aaron Raghubir; the love of his life, Chandanie Bisram; longtime best friend Elizabeth Stephens; brothers from other mothers David Holmgren, Michael Crockett, Craig Laird and Peter Prooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Todd attended Marshall University High School. He was active in sports and played football. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved cooking and was very good at it.
Todd worked at PICA Head Start for 23 years. He served in various roles as a bus driver and supervisor, and he worked with parents as part of the culture team.
