Tracy Culp was born in Minneapolis, MN, to the late William Joseph Culp and Jewel Elizabeth Hodge.
Tracy was an only child and attended Minneapolis Public Schools. She graduated from Washburn High School in 1977. She graduated as a missionary from A.W. Wilson Bible Institute in 2005 and then advanced to Brown College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in September 2006.
Tracy was a good mother and always willing to help out family and friends. She was also a foster parent for Hennepin County.
She enjoyed volunteering for her community, cooking and spending time with her family. Young in spirit is how Tracy would be described, and she will be greatly missed.
Tracy was preceded in death by her devoted stepfather for more than 40 years, Jeffery Dale Hodge. She is survived by her mother, Jewel Hodge; grandmother, Jessie Mae Smith; daughter, Jessica Lynn Spearmon; son, Ira Meggs Culp; and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held Thursday, December 27, at Central Church in Minneapolis.
