Charlie Earl Stephens of St. Paul, MN went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2012. Services will be held Friday, November 9, 2012. Visitation begins at 11 am and services begin at noon at New Beginning Baptist Tabernacle, 4301 1st Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55409.
Mr. Stephens is survived by his mother, Bessie Williams (Bill Williams), of Chicago, IL; sister, Barbara Stephens of Chicago; daughters Jasmin, Jessica and Jade Stephens; and their mother, Cathy Stephens of Richfield, MN. He was employed by Northeast Metro School District #916.
Charlie was a great standup kind of guy and a wonderful neighbor. He and his family lived next door to us in Richfield for many years. If ever we needed help, there Charlie was, offering to assist with projects we worked on for our house. He had a wonderful heart and he was a good friend. We will miss him greatly.
Our condolences go to his family–his beautiful daughters Jasmine, Jessica, and Jade, their mom, Cathy, his mom Bessie, sister Barbara, and all the rest of his folks. God bless you all, and we are so sorry Charlie is gone.
