William (Bill) H. Jones quietly passed away after a long illness. A graduate of Central High School, St. Paul, MN, he worked as a medical technician and for Ford Motor Company in Minnesota. He later married and relocated to Inglewood, California, where he was employed at and retired from General Motors and the City of Los Angeles.
Bill was quite the jokester — he always had a humorous line. He loved his cars and jazz.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry B. Jones and Clara P. Thomas-Smith.
Left to mourn him are his dear friend/caretaker Betty Carter, Compton, CA; daughter Carmen Jones and grandson Troy of California; and his great grandchildren. Survivors also include brothers Thomas B. (Claudia) Jones, Minneapolis, MN, and Michael K. Smith, TX; sisters Gerri (Robert) Cook, Southfield, MI, and Harriette Jones-Darrough, Oakdale, MN; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be greatly missed.

My condolence to the Jones family. God Bless and keep you all
Bill was a very, very “dear friend” to me and I will
miss him immensely.
I want to leave you the Priestly Blessing:
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.
Blessings, Glory, & Honor.
Shalom.
