Idella Howelton Grigsby departed at the blessed age of 101 on May 31, 2012. Idella’s home-going services were held June 6, 2012 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Cherishing her memory are her remaining children, Roaul Lance Grigsby and Toni Diane Coleman; sister, Gertrude Green; cousin, Willie Mae Johnson; and faithful daughters-in-law, Bettye Grigsby, Ruth Grigsby, Myrtle Grigsby Hammer. Idella also is survived by 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many special friends who were touched by her life.

She was preceded in death by husband Charles Wade Grigsby; sons Charles Arthur Grigsby, Roger Lee Grigsby, Phillip Michael Grigsby; and daughter Lois Delano Lockhard.
